What to Expect:
- Mild discomfort, swelling, or slight bleeding for 24–48 hours.
- A soft diet will be necessary for the first few days. use pain as a guide to see what you can and can't do
Aftercare Instructions:
Bite gently on gauze for 30–45 minutes post-procedure to control bleeding.
Avoid rinsing, spitting, or using straws for 24 hours to protect the clot.
Use ice packs on the cheek to reduce swelling (20 minutes on, 20 minutes off).
Take prescribed pain relievers as directed.
Avoid smoking, alcohol, and strenuous activity for 48–72 hours.
When to Call Us:
- Severe pain, excessive bleeding, fever or general feeling of unwellness
